Hi everyone -

I hope your weekend was a nice one.Mine has been nice but very busy.I had my work christmas party Friday night.It was nice and I even won a present...a mini boombox/cd player..... Saturday we spent running around and getting things for my hubby's company Christmas party. Which was very nice this year...We got Mike (oldest son) to take some pictures of us...we hardly ever go out so when we do I want PICTURES ...proof we did go out...lol Once that was done on to grandma's where the younger 2 stayed for the evening.

And then on to Richmond.....Bub & I went....It was nice to see another couple we goto the races with....Along with a few other couples that we know. Happy hour was from 7 - 8 pm...then we had dinner from 8 - 9:30pm which was pretty good....Shrimp, Steak, lobster flakes, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, along with a salad and hot roll which started the dinner.After that it was the best cheese cake ever! Oh man that stuff was out of this world!!! Of course I was stuffed but it was good. While enjoying all of that we had a comedian Mark....man I dont' remember his name but he has been on Star Search and a few other shows....anyway a pretty fun guy. Once he was done it was time for music....The real fun began... Hubby & I did dance but they were slow songs...which was great for me....my feet were killing me...I can deal with slow dancing....Took more pictures some of the guys from work....they were still enjoying happy hour....and let me tell ya they were feeling no pain...Most got a room there - so there was no worries about drinking and driving....We didn't get a room but I only had 1 mix drink and that was when first got there so I knew by 11:30 - 12 am i would be fine to drive. So all in all a great Saturday night...

Sunday was a day of washing clothes, getting groceries, and cleaning up...Man oh man - 5 more work days then we finally get a break......I am one mom who is looking forward to the holiday break.So much still to do and time is ticking on by...If you haven't heard from me it's not that I don't want to post - it just means I'm very busy right now...And I'll drop in when I can...

Good morning All -

I hope you all had a great weekend.Mine was pretty nice once I got over being sick! The stomach virus has been running through my house. So I hope we have seen the last of it!Nothing too exciting happened this weekend - we took our pup to the park Saturday - she loved that .And I think the kids had a good time too! It was a weekend of catching up on laundry and pulling the house back together.

We have 2 weeks left of school...YAH! I for one am looking forward to a break. As for Christmas  - the house is ready I may add a few more lights outside but I'm nowhere done Christmas shopping...And well it look like it will get done in 2 wks.

Hi ya'll,

Sorry I have not been around for awhile - I've had no internet since Friday - 11/26 @ 6:54:10 am....Yep you read that right - and it took them forever to figure out the problem  I was to the point I didn't think I would ever get this back on!

Anyway it's working - it was back on last night around 5:30pm...woooohoooo! I'm happy happy happy - I was starting to act abit crazy with no internet in the house.....LOL

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a really nice one here....my MIL came down and had dinner with us. My friend Sue came over later that day and enjoyed some fudge pie...This stuff is AWESOME!   

Friday morning Bub & I went out and hit the stores...I got 3 gifts - yep that is it...But i found the shoes I had been looking for - no thanx to Raven for chewing up the news ones I had...Also found Kay a pair - gave them to her now because once the weather gets really cold - she won't wear them. We took her to the mall - this child of mine surprised me by wanting a pink hat!  She looks so cute in it - and then she wanted a scarf and gloves...Too bad I could not make them all a christmas present but I'm happy she is happy with them...

We got the new movie "Elf" - cute movie...it gets ya in the mood for the holidays ...The house is pretty much decorated...I will have to share some pix with ya....
Work is good but loud - kids are getting excited knowing they have about 2 1/2 wks left before christmas break....it will only get worse.

Kay had been home with her dad the last 3 days - she had the tummy virus that is going around(she went back to school today) - Mike had it last week and now Brandon has it....I just want to get them all well before christmas gets here - I remember last year everyone had it...it sux! And now hubby has it and I think I'm coming down with it....crappo ....

OOOh I got a early christmas present from my hubby over the weekend - he got me the Bon Jovi Box set - man oh man it's pretty awesome!  

Ok ya'll - I'm gone for now if I'm feeling up to it I'll be back but at this point I just want to lay down...I just didn't want you all to wonder what in the world happend now???!!!???!!?!?!?!

Hi ya'll,

Sorry I have not updated in a few days...Life has been busy and i have been way too tired to update...I hope everyone has been well. Things have been good here just busy and super tired...But I for one am happy the weekend finally got here.This past week at school has been crazy and lots of work. Always is when a holiday is coming and the kids are extremely loud and crazy!

This coming week - we work just 3 days like everyone - YAH!  Even though I'll be tired Wed. night with doing some of the cooking for Thanksgiving day...it will be OK....As for around here...I finally got my living room tree decorated! YAH  But I'm abit upset with the fact I can not find all of my decorations!! I'm missing some and I just don't have a clue to where they could be. I was in the attic 3 x's today and still no luck .Oh well I'm not looking no more... Everyone said the tree looks great so - no more worries. I still have some more work to do in the living room & dinning...Before I can say I'm all done...but I'm almost there. 

My friend Sue came over this evening and she brought me over 2 christmas presents....Yes I got to open them.... lol And guess what they are???!?!?!? Any clue????SNOWMEN!!! One is a stuffed snowman  and the other is a lamp that holds a candle in it but it's a lamp....It has a snowmen on it.....It's very cute!!! I'll take a pix and show u all...She wanted me to enjoy it now and for the whole winter season....And believe me I will!!!! I just love SNOWMEN!!!!! I got Sue a "apple" it's on a thingy and you can put a small tee lite candle in it....it is really cute and she loves apples...she did her kitchen and dinning room in them...so I gave that to her early - plan on getting her something else to go with it...but the chick has everything in "Apple".... It makes it hard...

Hi ya'll,

this will be a really quick post as I'm ready for bed...Today was Thanksgiving lunch at school and we fed over 600 people - that was students and parents! I was at work early this morning along with yesterday morning. 5 hrs yesterdy and 5 1/2 today! It was a nonstop go go job....Lunch was great ~ the word out there - everyone enjoyed it...including my family ...After all the cooking we did at school...I wasn't cooking tonight so my crew got to enjoy thanksgiving dinner a week early . Lemme tell ya - it worked out great too.

Anyway life is good...just kinda busy tomorrow I don't have to go in early - YAH! So I will try and pull my house back together again...the weather has been nice here around 60 for the high but I hear rain my be coming and it could get even warmer!! go figure...We go from cold to very warm to cold next week -  geeeeez I just love the ups and downs of "fall" weather...

Hi ya'll,

I hope you all have a great weekend...As the normal thing it went way too quick.... back to work tomorrow...My weekend went pretty well I'd have to say...Saturday I was busy cleaning up and my boys pulled down from the attic Christmas stuff for me...Yep  I have Christmas stuff out already...I got the living room tree up but I have not done anything else with it...I will work on getting the lights on it this week...the way I look at it ~ if I get it all done by Thanksgiving I'm doing great! Alittle at a time... I did unpack some boxes so I do have stuff out...But I'm nowhere done doing what I have to do...

Anyway what else...I'm helping a friend find another place to live - she lives in one house now but her landlord wants to put the house up for sale and she has not been in it no time...so she has to move now...she is not a happy camper and I don't blame her on that....So we went and looked at a few places yesterday...But the dang on rent is way up there in the little town we live in...It sux! So all we can do is keep on looking...

Today we (my hubby & I) took our daughter Kay & our pup raven down to the park...it was a great day for it...on the cool side but nice...Raven had a ball ~ I know she smelled everything that came in her path...She had a ball playing in the leaves...and we walked everywhere...Then from one park we went to another for more walking and more playing...But the time we were done she was wore out and in the back side asleep on kay's lap....the funny dog she is.... 

Once home it was onto  ....and being some what lazy....between the race on tv and football games...the guys in my life had the tv taken care of...so I just kinda enjoyed my day....I walked again this evening....Raven my pup loves it and I enjoy it in the cold evenings and believe me it was a chilly walk...And once in Raven found her dog bed and that was it...she is done for the night....

I have watched some of the AMA - YAH for my favorite rock band BON JOVI...

It's about time seeing them on the awards shows again...they have their new *BOXSET* coming out on the 16th....I'm getting it but won't get it when it first comes out but that is ok...I can wait abit longer...Yah - they are still rocking and kicking bum!!

Good Morning -

We woke to it being another chilly morning and rain coming...well it did rain abit last night but as of now nothing...just chilly...the heavier rain will hit this afternoon and evening...

Hubby is off today...he has to use his vacation time up before the end of the year or he will lose it...But I have to work  but I need to because this is to help with christmas shopping...I have to get out there and do some more...i have nothing for Mike ( my oldest son) and just a couple things for brandon so I need to work when I can.

I'm glad to know it's Friday  ...I'm looking forward to the weekend being here even though it goes by so quick! Oh well I'll enjoy it anyway...Oh yes it will be a chilly one for sure...highes around 50 for both days but the lows will be in the 30's! Brrrrrrrrrr

Welp ya'll, I know this is kinda short but I'm gonna get ready for work abit early and head to my MIL's - hubby already left to go see her...so I will do the same before going in...I hope he (hubby) don't drive me NUTTS this weekend...he tends to do this when he takes a day off - he is so use to go go go...and then he just has nothing to do but drive me NUTTS  ....He tends to do this to me....

Sorry I had planned on making a post yesterday...I had even started one until this thing locked up on me... And well I got busy doing other things and just didn't think no more about it...I hope you all had a good day...

My plans were changed real quick as my younger son Brandon was home due to being sick.But I think he is going to school today...He had told me last night he was feeling much better and his tummy wasn't hurting at all. YAH!

Another chilly night...we're in the low 30's as of right now but today will be the warmer day of the week only with rain coming in tomorrow and being cold ALL DAY!

Really nothing too exciting at this moment...still plenty to do around the house for the holidays. Hubby came home last night and in with his check stub along with it.... there was a 20.00 check for a Butterball turkey!  Woohoo!! That helps out alot...this is the first time the company has done this...And hey the way i look at it - every little bit helps...

Welp ya'll, Have a great day....I'm off to get my younger 2 moving as they seem to have gotten the bum stuck to the couch...lol And if you have kids - you know they won't move until you make them scoot...so I'm gone...Be safe...(((hugs)))

I hope your day went well...Mine went pretty good even with the evil boss showing his ugly head today at work... OOOh I just love having someone stand behind me and comment on everything I do when it comes to feeding kids...Like I don't know what I'm doing...Argh!  MEN what a pita they can be....

On to other stuff...let's see...I have started decorating for Christmas...yes you right that right...I have always done this...for about the last 8 years or so...I start in Nov...I mean I want to enjoy it...So I start early enough and have it all done so when thanksgiving rolls around...I'm enjoying the fact all i have to do is cook and my house looks great for the holidays . So I got my tree all done here in my dinning room...I also have some other stuff out but I'm nowhere done doing what  I need to put out. And I won't start on the living room until I have the dinning room & kitchen ALL done...

I'll post a pic for all to see...Nope I'm NOT crazy .... Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I want to enjoy it as much as I can....and my hubby don't say a word cuz well he knows I'm gonna do what I want anyway...

Welp, I guess that is it for now...I'm gonna be walking soon...I'm sure my pup Raven is ready to go...I have been walking almost every evening except on the nights we had really bad storms...And I started May 25, 2004....I have lost weight and lots of inches...And I hope to continue on doing so...And it's another chilly night so I know I will sleep good....just as much as she will....
